Two Gentlemen of Verona

Written by William Shakespeare

Directed by Richard Sullivan Lee

Sound Design by Krysta Rogers

Composition by Chris Carignan

The Two Gentlemen of Verona explores the true meaning of friendship and the inevitable change that results as our characters mature. In their venture of becoming “gentlemen”, Proteus and Valentine’s friendship is tested through the ever-changing emotions of love, desire, identity, and honor. Deceit rears its ugly head as Proteus stabs his best friend in the back to get his way with Sylvia and young love seems to change hands at the blink of an eye. Through the overall theme of change, our characters, in the end, earn the identity of “gentlemen.”
